A few weeks ago we did an Instagram giveaway for a free engagement session with a floral arrangement . We had tons and tons of people enter to win the engagement session with Milwaukee wedding photographers, Charlie and Taylor Photography, and the lucky winners of this session was Savanah + Wyatt from Columbus, WI.
Their session started with a planning video chat where we talked about how they met, and what their dream session looked like. Savanah sent me her pinterest mood board for her dream engagement shoot session, and we were instantly in love with the woodsy -outdoors feel.
After scouting for the perfect location we finally decided on the Rezter Nature Center located in Waukesha. While scouting, we just knew that it would be a stunning shoot because of the surrounding nature, the tall trees, and the beautiful fields of flowers.
We ordered our bouquet from 414loral, a local florist from Milwaukee, who just blew us away with her skill. Charlie and I sent the owner, Mikel, a photo of the dress that Savanah would be wearing to her session and let her know that she can be as creative as she wants with the bouquet.

On the day of the shoot, Charlie and I got to Retzer an hour early to prep our gear, enjoy a quick moment between the two of us, and to plan the route we would take to during Savanah and Wyatt's engagement session.

We encourage all of our clients to bring a second outfit with them to their engagement session or couple's photoshoot to add variety to their photos. Savanah and Wyatt started off with an elegant and classy look, and then changed into a fun and casual outfit to finish out their session.
